(OOC: Howdy there guys. First ever Gathering here on Warriors' Oath. Gathering hype. I'm super lame. Let's get this party started.)
Harestar || Tom || 48 moons || Leader of NightClan
The tom exited his den and glimpsed over his camp, pausing momentarily to look at the cats whom had grouped together to go to the Gathering this moon. Elder warriors and apprentices alike made up the group and Harestar nodded to himself as he padded over to them. A few nodded back at him and other shifted from paw to paw impatiently. Harestar purred in amusement. They had quite a while to go and many of them were ready to get on with their journey.
With the setting sun above them, Harestar exited the camp and beckoned for the gathered cats to follow him. He set a rather quick pace, warriors wouldn't get impatient but apprentices would be able to keep up without having to tire themselves out. The leader expertly navigated through the thick of the vegetation. It would take a while before the trees and undergrowth would thin out but at their current pace they would be reaching the river that made up the border between NightClan and SunClan territories. The current of the body of water was rather strong this evening, and Harestar made sure to keep an adequate space between the traveling cats and the rushing water.
The tom would lead his clanmates along the river until they reach the border between his own clan and BrightClan's. He paused for a moment and motioned for his clan to do for as well as he scented the air. It wasn't likely that they would be attacked while going to a Gathering, but precaution was always an asset. After noting that no cats were nearby he continued along his way, hopefully with his clanmates in tow. Eventually an old, worn tree that lay across the river came into view. The tom hurried towards the fallen trunk. He leaped up on to the wood and scurried across it with practiced ease.
Surprisingly, they were the first clan to arrive. Harestar flicked an ear as he padded to the stone slab at the center of the clearing. Once taking his place he turned to his clan and mummer, "It seems we're the first to arrive. Feel free to scatter but don't venture to far. The river's current is strong."
(ooc; I'll add Oakwhisker later. For now, have this crappy starter.)
